Summit Ministries

Summit is an educational Christian ministry whose very existence is a response to our current post-Christian culture. Today, countless Christian youth have fallen victim to the popular ideas of our modern world. Most have adopted these ideas into their own worldview, while still others go on to renounce their Christian faith altogether. Summit views its role in God’s kingdom as a catalyst to counteract this alarming trend. However, our ultimate goal supersedes simply training. As Christians are challenged to stand strong in their faith and defend truth, they will also be equipped to have a positive influence on the society in which they live."

Stand to reason
“Stand to Reason trains Christians to think more clearly about their faith and to make an even-handed, incisive, yet gracious defense for classical Christianity and classical Christian values in the public square. We focus on the basics, the fundamentals of theology and ethics, and the fundamental tools of thought.  STR teaches the value of using our minds to love God and share the Gospel. We teach careful reasoning and well thought-out answers so that Christians will participate in public discussion (at home, at work, or at the university) so that the Christian world view has a place in the debate. We encourage Christians to develop coherent answers to questions that challenge Christianity so that their faith is deepened and thereby are emboldened to share the Gospel.”

The Truth Project
The Truth Project began as a response to a Barna Research Group study which revealed that only 9 percent of professing Christians have a biblical worldview. They were concerned that because of this today's Christians live very similarly to secular society, spending money and time on things that fail to satisfy, all the while wondering what life's ultimate purpose really is. Sound familiar? The crux of the project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett with each lesson discussing in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. Check out the trailer on the website too!
