A new survey reveals high rates of infidelity in young adults with one in three admitting to have cheated on their partner. This should not be suprising given the low value integrity, fidelity and monogamy are given in our entertainment industry and subsequently our culture.
A third of Aussies unfaithful The Age, February 19, 2008 One in three young Australians have cheated on their partner. A new study on young love and break-ups has revealed high rates of infidelity. Australian and Hong Kong researchers collaborated to survey more than 450 people aged 18 to 25 in both countries about their relationships.
One third said they had been unfaithful to a partner at least once.
The online survey is part of a larger study by Swinburne University, Victoria University and the Hong Kong Institute of Education which is investigating the role of romantic relationships in the lives of young people.
