Over the weekend elections were held in both South Australia and Tasmania. The results of which are quite revealing. There was quite a swing favouring the Liberal Party in both states and whilst the Australian Labor Party may maintain power in South Australia the gap has well and truly closed.
This is important to note because the Victorian state election is forthcoming this year as well as the Federal election. Labor has been crippled recently in the polls and this years remaining elections look to be surprisingly close. To follow party policy visit Salt Shakers politics page.
