Truth > Resistance Thinking values truth and is not afraid of critique or differing opinions. We believe that truth stands up to any critique and that God is truth - the RT project is a quest for this truth.

the Bible > Resistance Thinking's reference point for truth is, unequivocally, the Bible. Every argument or article that is endorsed by RT seeks to be consistent with Biblical truth. At the same time, truth is also found all around us in the world that God created. In approaching different issues RT desires to illustrate two levels: 1) how certain responses relate to Biblical truth and 2) how the Biblical truth makes truthful sense in the world that we live.

Respect > young people do not know everything, in fact, young people know a whole lot less than older people do! New generations have a LOT to learn from previous generations, and so, RT seeks to stimulate a sense of sincere respect for thought that has gone before us.

Tolerance > we believe in tolerance in its truest sense: that people are entitled to their opinions - that's what makes a free society 'free'! Whilst we may strongly disagree with different views on certain issues, that never replaces an individual's right to hold to that opinion.

Accuracy > accuracy is highly valued in everything that is endorsed or produced by Resitance Thinking. Other people or organisations are entitled to have their own views and so we seek to repesent their work accurately and faithfully.

Issue-based > oftentimes discussions on certain issues become very heated and personal because different parties have a certain level of vested emotional interest. In all issues that are discussed by Resistance Thinking we seek to stick to the issue, and to stay away from emotional tactics. Any dialogue RT has with any parties that evolve into name-calling, mud-slinging, or any other emotionally manipulative or personally attacking tactics will be ceased. RT sticks to the issue - to thinking about the ideology.
