Resistance Thinking has worked with a number of other groups in Australia to promote and support Worldview conferences that are provided in association with Summit Ministries (www.summit.org) In the USA, Summit holds two-week Christian worldview conferences for young adults - especially those going from high school to university - to enable them to understand the other worldviews as well as Christianity. In particular, Summit focuses on Humanism, Marxism/Leninism, New Age, Islam, Postmodernism and Christianity. They have a Worldview Chart that summarises the main ideas of these worldviews in ten key areas. In Australia, yearly worldview conferences were held from in January from 2005 - 2008. In January 2009, Summit held a two day conference in Perth and a second one in Adelaide. Stay tuned to find out when the next worldview conference will be held. Introductory Worldview conferences (one day) are conducted by Salt Shakers. They cover some of the concepts about worldviews, an overview of the main worldviews and a look at how we interact with the world.
